Kevin Eisenfrats

Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Kevin Eisenfrats graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Nanomedicine Engineering. Having conceived the idea behind Contraline, Mr. Eisenfrats has been awarded multiple university as well as national awards for the invention. At Contraline, Mr. Eisenfrats spearheads the research and development, as well as the business side of Contraline.


John Herr, Ph.D.

In memory of our Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer

Dr. Herr was a Professor of Cell Biology, Urology, and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Virginia. He was also Director of the Center for Research in Contraceptive and Reproductive Health and renowned expert in reproductive biology. Dr. Herr founded four biotechnology companies before co-founding Contraline.


Nikki Hastings, Ph.D.

Chief Operating Officer

Nikki is an operations executive, engineer, and entrepreneur. Nikki previously served as Vice President of Operations at Hemoshear Theapeutics where she was on the founding team developing the company's technology, internal processes, and recruiting strategies. Nikki received her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia. At Contraline, Nikki is spearheading the company's operations.


Gerelyn Henry, DVM, MBA

Director of Translational Research and Pathology

Dr. Henry is a medical executive, translational medicine professional, and comparative pathologist. Dr. Henry has deep experience in developmental and reproductive toxicologic pathology. Dr. Henry received her veterinary degree from Tuskegee University and MBA from Darden School of Business. At Contraline, Dr. Henry is leading the pre-clinical studies for Echo-V.


Ryan Smith, M.D.

Director of Clinical Research

Dr. Smith is an Assistant Professor of Urology at the University of Virginia. Dr. Smith attended UVA School of Medicine and completeled his fellowship in Baylor College of Medicine. He specializes in male infertility, vasectomy, vasectomy reversal, and men's health. At Contraline, Dr. Smith is pioneering the non-surgical Vasintomy procedure.


Eric Moran

Product Engineer

Eric graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. Eric has extensive experience performing basic science as well as clinical research. At Contraline, Eric works on product development, manufacturing, intellectual property, and marketing.
