Kevin Eisenfrats

Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Kevin Eisenfrats graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Nanomedicine Engineering. Having conceived the idea behind Contraline, Kevin has been awarded multiple university as well as national awards for the invention. At Contraline, Kevin is involved with project management, business development, and commercialization strategy for the company.



   

John Herr, Ph.D.

In memory of our Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer

Dr. Herr was a Professor of Cell Biology, Urology, and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Virginia. He was also Director of the Center for Research in Contraceptive and Reproductive Health and renowned expert in reproductive biology. Dr. Herr founded four biotechnology companies before co-founding Contraline.



   

Nikki Hastings, Ph.D.

Chief Operating Officer

Nikki is an operations executive, engineer, and entrepreneur. Nikki previously served as Vice President of Operations at Hemoshear Theapeutics. Nikki received her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia. At Contraline, Nikki leads the company's operations, human resources, and internal processes.



   

Dr. Greg Grover, Ph.D.

Director of R&D

Greg is a polymer scientist who directs all of Contraline's product development efforts. He received a Ph.D. from UCLA in organic chemistry and completed his Post-Doc at UCSD on injectable polymer biomaterials for cardiovascular applications. Previously, he was the Head of Soft Materials Division at Biologica Technologies.



   

Dr. Paul Turek, M.D.

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Turek is a urologist and men's reproductive health specialist. He is the Founder and Director of the Turek Clinic, a leading men's health practice in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Dr. Turek also serves as CMO of Mandalmed. At Contraline, Dr. Turek is developing the Vasintomy procedure and its accompanying devices.



   

Ryan Smith, M.D.

Director of Clinical Research

Dr. Smith is an Assistant Professor of Urology at the University of Virginia. Dr. Smith attended UVA School of Medicine and completeled his fellowship in Baylor College of Medicine. He specializes in male infertility, vasectomy, vasectomy reversal, and men's health. Dr. Smith is performing clinical research in collaboration with Contraline.




   

Eric Moran

Product Engineer

Eric graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. At Contraline, Eric works on product development, manufacturing, in vivo testing, intellectual property, and marketing.
